I have been playing the cello since the age of 3. Both my parents met at a music camp in Madison, Wisconsin when they were young playing viola. I began to play my new electric cello after graduating high-school, playing open mics and with my friends punk bands. I joined Olken at Suny Purchase in the fall of 2008. We released one album that you can find at the link below. I returned to my hometown Kalamazoo and began again with the band, Who Are The Owls. I played electric and acoustic cello, and we released an ep. We split up in 2010, but have each continued our music in other ways. I have been working on a solo project titled The Neo-Shaman and his Post-Human Material. This work features neo-tribal themes. I have some group recordings, solo songs, and a radio theater show. Since 2008 I have been learning and perfecting my skill at; the mouth harp, digereedoo, viola, violin, guitar, banjo. I have some experience with the trombone and flutes and hope to expand my musical instrument repertoire to as many instruments as possible, but mainly the piano.
